At one with nature and yourself

“Shinrin yoku”, bathing in the forest, reduces stress hormones and strengthens the immune system, increasing the general well-being and improving the mood.

The Japanese call it shinrin-yoku, bathing in the forest, meaning the pleasant effects on those suffering from stress of contact with nature and walking in the forest. The forests of the Northern Vosges mountains are ideal for this, with magnificent hardwood stands of beeches, alders, ashes, lime and maple trees, not to mention the occasional fir tree, all producing forest scents that make it easy to discover the beauty of nature and find internal peace. Bathing in the forest on our barefoot path is a particularly wonderful experience.
